Shatha Zaghloul is a Palestinian-American Muslim author. Growing up in the United States, she realized there was a lack of representation for people like her in literature, and she set out to change that.

Shatha earned her BFA in Design and Media Arts from Northern Illinois University in 2024. Since then, she has been collaborating with her friend and former classmate, Brooklynn Staton, to create books aimed at inspiring and making a difference in the lives of young readers.

Outside of writing, Shatha enjoys practicing tatreez (Palestinian embroidery), flying planes, and working as a dental assistant in the chicagoland area.
